Prego Rolls
Minute steak 1
Bread Roll 1
Lettuce 20 g
Tomato 1 slice
Chilli sauce 15 ml
Method
1. Preheat 15 ml oil in a saute pan to smoking hot
2. Shallow fry the minute steak
3. Turn steak a few times while cooking to brown
4. Test firmness of steak to reach the correct cooking time
5. When finished place the steak in the chilli sauce that is spread on a plate to coat the steak properly
6. Cut the bread roll open and place the tomato and lettuce inside and the steak on top.
7. Served with a side of chips
Chef Tips
Whilst cooking a steak always check the firmness to cook to a preferred rare, medium or well done.
